Jyotika's name recently hit the headlines for her latest speech about government hospitals and temples as it created a huge controversy on social media. Later, the director of Jyotika's untitled next, Era Saravanan clarified on what Jyotika said and requested people not to misunderstand it. Quite a few notable stars, directors and producers have been voicing their support for Jyotika in this issue. On that note, there was an unofficial image circulating on social media that showed Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi extending his support to Jyotika.

To clear the air, Vijay Sethupathi, on his official Twitter page, shared that image and labelled it to be fake and asked people not to believe in that. Vijay Sethupathi is someone who is known for being honest and straightforward and this immediate clarification from him has helped in stopping the spread of the fake image. On the professional front, we'd be witnessing Vijay Sethupathi locking horns against Thalapathy Vijay in Master which is expected to release once the theatres reopen after the lockdown.

Vijay Sethupathi also has an interesting set of films in his kitty, including Yaadhum Oorey You Kelir, Laabam, Ka Pae Ranasingam, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Tughlaq Durbar, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Maamanithan, Uppena (Telugu), and Laal Singh Chaddha (Hindi).
