'Thalapathy' Vijay's upcoming film, Master, wrapped up its filming last week with a picture of the superstar receiving a kiss on the cheek from 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi going on to receive a huge response from fans. Announced to come out in theatres in April, the film is touted to be an action thriller and has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj under Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators banner featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Dubbing for the supporting actors and junior artists in Master had begun towards the end of production with full-fledged post-production works now underway. With the trade highly hopeful regarding the prospects of the film, it has now been revealed that the Telugu states business for Master has kicked off with the Guntur area theatrical rights being acquired by Padmakar Cinemas. Already an established and successful distribution banner for forty years, Padmakar Cinemas had in recent times distributed back-to-back blockbusters namely Whistle (Bigil Telugu version) and Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru.

The hype surrounding Master is massive considering the film has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi pitted against each other with the curiosity levels among fans skyrocketing after the third look poster featuring both stars going at each other went on to receive a tremendous response. Furthermore, the first song, 'Kutti Story', sung by Vijay has turned out to be a chart-buster with all eyes now set on the film's second single track, which many expect will be released in the days ahead.

Apart from Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, Master includes in its ensemble cast names like Malavika Mohanan as the female lead alongside Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Nassar, 96 actress Gouri Kishan, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sriman, Azhagam Perumal, Ramya Subramanian, Ramesh Thilak, Nagendra Prasad, Dheena, Prem,Chetan, Brigada Sagaya, Lintu Rony in major supporting roles.
