'Thalapathy' Vijay's recent release, Master, has turned out to be an earth-shattering box office success after it hit theatres worldwide last month as a Pongal treat, with the film currently also streaming on Amazon Prime Video since January 29. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj under Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators banner, 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi played the antagonist in Master, with his power-packed performance alongside an electrifying Vijay declared to be the biggest USPs for the film. All set to be next seen in Thalapathy 65, there has also been an extensive debate in the film trade and among fans on Vijay’s upcoming projects.

In that light, reputed South Indian film producer RB Choudary of Super Good Films banner, at a media interaction for his latest Tamil release Kalathil Santhippom starring Jiiva, Arulnithi, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Manjima Mohan, was queried about a film with Vijay again after the two had collaborated on six previous occasions. Speaking to press persons, RB Choudary said, "If we come across a story that would suit him, we will definitely do a film together again. He has in the past acted in six films under our production banner. So, there's nothing like him not acting in another film for us. As of now, we have to do a film that will suit Vijay's big on-screen image. Initially, we had to cast Vijay for the story, but now, his image is on a whole other level and it all relies on finding a story that would satisfy his fans. So, once we come across such a story, we will work together once again on a new film."

Vijay has so far done six films for RB Choudary's Super Good Films among which include Poove Unakkaga in 1996, followed by Love Today (1997), Thulladha Manamum Thullum (1999), Shahjahan (2001), Thirupaachi (2005) and Jilla (2014). All six of their collaborations turned out to be massive box office successes and it now remains to be seen whether the leading producer will once again be announcing a new film with 'Thalapathy' in the near future. As of now, all sights have shifted to Vijay's upcoming Thalapathy 65, which is being bankrolled by the prestigious Sun Pictures and will see Nelson Dilipkumar taking charge as the director. There is already a huge hype surrounding Thalapathy 65 featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander as it will see Vijay teaming up with a relatively young filmmaker, whose only film directorial credits for now include the Nayanthara starrer Kolamaavu Kokila, while he awaits the release of his Doctor starring Sivakarthikeyan, slated for a release on March 26.
