Big Breaking: Suriya's next with this young superhit director!

Suriya has had an underwhelming 2019 with both his releases - NGK with director Selvaraghavan and Kaappaan with director KV Anand, receiving mixed responses from audiences. However, an undeterred Suriya has already wrapped up shoot for his next project Soorarai Pottru, with director Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame. Meanwhile, there have been reports that Suriya has a very impressive lineup of directors he is going to work with next, including Siruthai Siva, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vettrimaaran and Lokesh Kanagaraj! Now, we have confirmed news that another young, talented and superhit director has signed up Suriya for his next project!

A source in the know reveals to us that Indru Netru Naalai director Ravikumar Rajendran will next be working in a movie with Suriya in the lead. This new project is to be bankrolled by SR Prabhu and SR Prakashbabu, under their Dream Warrior Pictures banner. Further details regarding the rest of the cast & crew, as well as the shooting updates are expected to be made in an official announcement, very soon. Dream Warrior Pictures are on a dream run with their latest venture Kaithi, which had Karthi in the lead, has turned out to become a blockbuster hit.

Following the overwhelming success of his maiden venture Indru Netru Naalai, Ravikumar announced his next project with Sivakarthikeyan, which is going by the working title SK14. This project began under the production of RD Raja's 24 AM Studios banner and is reportedly a sci-fi movie. However, the movie went on to the backburner as there was reportedly a financial cruch for the makers. However, recent reports suggest that SK14 has been taken over by Sivakarthikeyan's Hero producers KJR Studios. Let's wait and watch...
