STR is back in action and he has been shooting for the highly anticipated Maanaadu for the past few days. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this political drama’s shooting is happening at the outskirts of Chennai with a major crew. STR will be seen playing a Muslim character, as Abdul Khaleeq in this film and it is expected to give the much needed breakthrough for him. Apart from Maanaadu, Simbu also has Maha, in which he will be seen in an extended cameo. Maha is Hansika Motwani’s 50th film and it is directed by U.R.Jameel, a former associate of director Lakshman.

STR’s stylish makeover for Maha created huge expectations among the fans and it elevated the overall buzz of the film to a different level. The film’s producer, Mathiyalagan of Etcetra Entertainment has never failed to share updates about the film for the fans. On that note, he recently shared that the teaser of Maha can be expected this month.
