Seenu Ramasamy shares latest update on Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan | Yuvan
Maamanithan is an upcoming Tamil film starring Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. This film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy and produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja’s YSR Films. The highlight aspect of this film is the music which is scored by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and his two sons, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja. The Raja family have worked together on a film’s music for the first time and that itself is an exciting USP for Maamanithan. However, the film has been dealing with various production related issues and hence the release has been delayed.
Despite having completed the shooting long back, the film has been waiting to find a proper release date. Having said that, Seenu Ramasamy has shared an interesting update about Maamanithan, for the fans. He tweeted, “Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has finished composing 4 songs and re-recording for scenes in Maamanithan. Yuvan Shankar Raja is working on the arrangements for his songs. Only Yuvan can answer about the release plans of Maamanithan. I don’t have a say about that.”
This tweet has gone viral among the fans and as Seenu says, it looks like only Yuvan will have to come up with the announcement about the film’s release. Let us hope it happens soon. Replying to Seenu’s tweet, one of the fans asked him if there are any problems between him and Yuvan. The Dharmadurai director cleared the air by saying that there are no such issues.
