Popular YouTuber and actor Vijay Kumar Rajendran (famously known as 'Eruma Saani' Vijay) will be making his debut as a director in Tamil cinema with a new film starring Arulnithi in the lead role. Arulnithi is known for his wise selection of scripts and on that note, this looks like an interesting project to watch out for. Tentatively titled Arulnithi 15, this film is set in a college backdrop and it is touted to be a youthful entertainer. Popular cinematographer Aravinnd Singh who is known for working in movies like Demonte Colony, Natpe Thunai, has turned producer for this film and he has bankrolled this project under the banner of MNM Films.

The latest exciting update about this project is that the entire rights (release, marketing, and presentation) of the film is acquired by leading film distribution house, Sakthi Film Factory. Talking about this association, Eruma Saani Vijay said in a statement, “When I got an opportunity to make my directorial debut with this movie, I strongly felt that it isn’t just proving my potentials, but setting a benchmark of inspiration for other YouTubers, who are ambitious on embarking on their directorial journey in the industry. And now, to have a reputed brand like Sakthi Film Factory recognizing the project and taking forward it to a bigger release has endowed me with sheer happiness. This movie will be great for all audiences, especially youngsters as the story is set against the college backdrops. We are planning up for a wider stretch of promotions for this movie and will be commencing them soon.”

Along with this update, the makers have also made a big announcement, revealing that the title and first look poster of Arulnithi 15 will be unveiled on July 21. We have seen several budding talents from YouTube venturing into cinema and let us see what 'Eruma Saani' Vijay has managed to create in his debut work. The shooting of Arulnithi 15 has been wrapped up and the post production works are happening in full swing.
