Known for his sarcastic and caustic remarks and statements, Ram Gopal Varma is at it again. Controversy's favourite child Ram Gopal Varma, has mostly been in the news for the wrong reasons. His latest tweet has gotten him into the limelight once again. RGV, yesterday posted a sexist remake on women who were standing in the queue to buy liquor. Singer Sona Mohapatra was quick enough to slam Ram Gopal Varma’s insensitive twitter post.

RGV’s tweet - “Look who’s in line at the wine shops ..So much for protecting women against drunk men.” and Sona’s reply - “Dear Mr RGV,time for u to get into the line of people who desperately need a real education.1 that lets u understand why this tweet of yours reeks of sexism & misplaced morality.Women have a right to buy & consume alcohol just like men. No one has the right to be drunk & violent.”

Ram Gopal Varma was once regarded as one of the finest directors in India who entered the film industry scene with a bang. His very first Siva went on to become path-breaking crime thriller. RGV has even won the National Film Award for scripting a political crime drama called Shool. Though his recent works have been poor, his earlier films speak for himself. But he is losing all the fame and respect he earned over the year because of a series of insensitive tweets from him in the recent past.
