However, Rajini's fans liked the film for the Thalaivar moments it had. The latest good news is that this A.R.Murugadoss directorial is all set to have its first ever television premiere on Sun TV, coming April 14 at 6.30 PM, for the special occasion of Tamil New Year. It also marks the 27th year anniversary of Sun TV. Hearing upon this news, the fans are excited to catch the film on the small screen.

The household audience and people who couldn't watch the film until now can sit back and enjoy it on television on April 14. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Darbar has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Santosh Sivan. The film features Nivetha Thomas as Rajinikanth's daughter and the duo's relationship is one of the major highlights of the film.

Similarly, the Telugu dubbed version of the film will have its premiere on April 10 at 6.30 PM in Gemini TV. The Hindi version will have its telecast on Star Gold TV channel today (April 5) at 12 Noon. The Malayalam and Kannada dubbed versions are also expected to be premiered very soon on Surya TV and Udaya TV respectively.
