A short release promo for Cold Case is now out and teases a few intense and action-packed visuals, including the announcement of the film's June 30 release date. Prithviraj, who plays the role of a character named Sathyajith, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), had posted several pictures of himself on the sets during production and revealed details about his role in the film. There had been talks about Cold Case releasing on OTT for a while now after producer Anto Joseph revealed in a statement recently that he waited for a long time to bring it out in theatres along with Fahadh Faasil's political action drama, Malik. However, theatres and cinema halls have remained shut around the country due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced Anto to release Cold Case now on Amazon Prime.
