Popular Malayalam actor Siju Wilson and wife Shruthi Vijayan were blessed with their first child, a baby girl, on May 18, with the couple on Monday officially revealing the name of the newborn. Taking to Instagram, Siju, shared pictures of himself and Shruthi along with their little bundle of joy, whom they have named Meher. In the photos, Meher Siju Wilson is seen in a traditional baby outfit, with fans pouring in their wishes to the couple for their little munchkin. Sharing cute pictures of his daughter, Siju wrote, "Meet the new love of Our life, Our Darling , " MEHER SIJU WILSON "  Meher says Hi 👋 to Everyone ❤️  Thank you @lilvastr for designing this sweet cute beautiful dress for Our Darling ☺️ We Loved it." Known among Tamil cinema fans for his most popular role as Jojo in the blockbuster Malayalam coming of age romantic drama film Premam, Siju Wilson had revealed in an interview with ETimes that he will be soon taking a step forward professionally. The actor said, "I am stepping into a new phase of my life, both personally and professionally. And also, I have begun accepting life the way it is. And yes, we are equally thrilled and prepared for embracing parenthood." Siju had also informed that he and his wife Shruthi were told then at the time about their soon-to-be newborn child and was also when he had landed the role to play the lead in the upcoming period drama, Pathonpatham Noottandu. 

Siju had stated, "Both the announcement of Pathonpatham Noottandu and the good news - our pregnancy, arrived around the same time. As Pathonmpatham Noottandu is a period drama, I had to do a lot of work on myself, including body transformation and training in martial arts. I was mostly busy with the preparations, while Shruthi was pregnant. So, she basically had to take care of both of us. She never complained, and she knows me more than anyone else, so she managed both."
