Betty is an upcoming American teen drama television series written by Crystal Moselle and Lesley Arfin. The series is a spinoff of Moselle's 2018 film Skate Kitchen. It includes most of the cast of the original movie, and focuses on the group's efforts to stand out in New York's predominantly male world of skateboarding. The series consists of six episodes. On February 25, 2020, it was announced that the series will premiere on May 1, 2020. HBO has now released the trailer for Betty, which focuses on skater girls in New York City.

The trailer gives us a look at the characters as they navigate their friendships, the city, and awkward attempts at romance, all while trying to establish themselves in the male-dominated world of skateboarding.
