The National Award-winning actor's lineup includes the Karthik Subbaraj-directed Jagame Thanthiram announced for a Netflix release soon, followed by Karnan under Pariyerum Perumal fame Mari Selvaraj's direction slated to hit screens on April 9, including his next big Bollywood venture, Atrangi Re, on August 6, which also includes Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, with music by A. Earlier, Santhosh Narayanan had expressed his gratitude to fans for their feedback and wrote, "I bow down to all of you who loved and supported #KandaaVaraSollunga. This is a major victory for so many folk artists who have to be celebrated. Thank you all so much. Here is a click from my first discussion with  @mari_selvaraj  about Kandaa Vara Sollunga. #Karnan". Dhanush tweeted, "And we know there is much more to come. Thank you for identifying such deserving talents of our soil and soul and displaying them to the world. God bless you"

This latest statement is the first from Dhanush in some time, especially after the release announcement of his Jagame Thanthiram on Netflix. Dhanush had earlier on Monday tweeted a poster of the 'Kandaa Vara Sollunga' song crossing 6 million views on YouTube, with the song currently trending at the top.
