Music director turned actor G.V.Prakash Kumar recently informed his fans and followers that the second single from his next film, Jail would be released very soon. He revealed that the song has been penned by young sensation, Arivu, who is known for songs like ‘Maara Theme’, ‘Vaathi Raid’, etc. G.V.Prakash said that the song will be an anthem of friendship and will work well with the masses. Following that, G.V.Prakash has now made an announcement stating that the second single from Jail will be released on August 18.

Yes! This song is called ‘Pathu Kaasu’ and it will be released on August 18 evening at 6 PM. This song will talk about the beauty of friendship and is touted to be a fun track. Additionally, G.V.Prakash revealed two lines from the song and the lyric goes like, “கெத்துன்னா கெத்துங்கோ என் நண்பன் வர்றான் ஒத்துங்கோ ... சிக்கமா நிக்குரப்போ வந்து கைய குத்தாங்கோ”. The audio rights of Jail belong to Sony Music.

The first single from the film, ‘Kaathodu Kaathanen’ a soulful romantic number sung by Dhanush and Aditi Rao Hydari opened to an overwhelming response from the fans and music lovers. The song is already a chartbuster and it gave the right kind of start for Jail’s promotion and the fans are eagerly waiting for the film. The song has crossed over 6.5 million views on YouTube and G.V.Prakash will be looking forward to continuing the success with ‘Pathu Kaasu’ as well.

G.V.Prakash’s Jail has got good expectations among ardent film buffs and it is expected to be one of the important films to watch out for. Jail is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vasantabalan and features Enga Veetu Mappillai fame Abarnathi as the female lead. Due to various finance related issues, the film couldn’t find a proper release for the past few months, but the problems have now been sorted out and the film is ready for release.
