Valmiki, the official remake of the 2014 Tamil hit film Jigarthanda hit the screens a few weeks back and the movie managed to do a decent job at the box-office. The remake is directed by Harish Shankar and popular actor Varun Tej reprised Bobby Simha’s role from the original version which was appreciated by many. Atharvaa Murali played Siddharth’s role of a young filmmaker in the film marking his Telugu debut. Mirnalini Ravi and Samyuktha Hegde were the two leading ladies in the film. Valmiki is bankrolled by Ram and Gopi Achanta under their banner 14 Reels Entertainment. Music for the film is scored by Mickey J Meyer.

The team has now released the full video of the song Velluvachi Godaramma from the movie. Velluvachi Godaramma is a popular old song from the film titled Devatha which was directed by K Raghavendra Rao featuring Sobhan Babu and Sridevi in lead roles. The song has the magical voices of SP Balasubrahmanyam and P Susheela. Musical legend K Chakravarthy has composed the song. The team has re-created the whole song which looks fantastic.
