A film Tamil cinema fans around the world are waiting for and mighty excited is the Dhanush-starrer, Jagame Thandhiram, scheduled to premiere this Friday at 12:30PM on Netflix. Announced to come out in 190 Countries and in 17 Languages, the upcoming mass action gangster venture directed by Karthik Subbaraj under S. Sashikanth’s Y Not Studios banner and featuring music by Santhosh Narayanan is being extensively promoted by global streaming giant, which has now released a special 8-minute Jagame Thandhiram making video showing us visuals behind the production and featuring Dhanush, followed by the film's heroine Aishwarya Lekshmi, the antagonist James Cosmo, including Malayalam actor Joju George and Kalaiyarasan, who will be seen in major supporting roles. 

The Jagame Thandhiram making video has director Karthik Subbaraj and composer sharing their inputs and the process that went behind the production, while also delving into how they managed to shoot a large portion of the film in foreign locations in the United Kingdom. Jagame Thandhiram has a story set around the two-time National Award winner Dhanush's Suruli, who is a small-time gangster in Madurai and leaves for London for an unfinished business, with the plot centered around the immigrant crisis. Both the teaser and the trailer released have left fans quite hyped and hopeful for the film to be a cracker of an entertainer.  

Speaking about the artistes' performances in Jagame Thandhiram, Karthik Subbaraj states, "For Suruli, Dhanush was the best choice for the character that I could ever get because he's notorious and arrogant and, in the same way, he's innocent and lovable." James Cosmo, who is known from Game of Thrones, shed light on his character as well saying, "Peter is a very scary gangster. He can't help, but like Suruli. He's a different colour and a different age. When I was his age, I was exactly the same as him."
