Breaking: Kamal Haasan to resume shoot for Indian 2 from next week!

One of the most awaited movies of recent times, is Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's Indian 2! This upcoming sequel to the 1996 Indian, is bringing back director Shankar and Kamal Haasan after twenty three years! This project has had a stop-start progress and Kamal Haasan has not been a part of the recent schedules as he is recuperating from a surgery. He was supposed to join the sets of Indian 2 from the first week of January but when he was unable to do so, portions involving the other stars like Vivekh, Siddharth and Jagan have been shot. However, we now have an exciting update about Kamal Haasan resuming shoot for Indian 2!

A source close to the Indian 2 team states that Kamal Haasan would be re-joining the unit from next week. The unit is currently getting the set ready for the next schedule and rehearsals with director Shankar are set to get underway in a couple of days, once the sets are ready. Earlier reports stated that Kajal Aggarwal too would be joining the team of Indian 2 at the same time as Kamal and it looks to be seen if Kajal too would be joining the shoot, from next week! Some portions involving Kamal Haasan have already been canned and a special poster from the movie was released by director Shankar for Kamal Haasan's birthday!

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions and directed by Shankar, Indian 2 has a number of stars including Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivekh, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, Delhi Ganesh and a number of other stars! Rockstar Anirudh is scoring the music while R Rathnavelu is taking care of the cinematography and Sreekar Prasad is taking care of the editing.
