Popular Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman has passed away (on August 28) due to colon cancer. The talented actor was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016 and was fighting against it for the past four years. Chadwick was 43 years old when he breathed his last and he was declared dead at his house in Los Angeles. The news has taken the entire world by complete shock and Chadwick's fans are truly heartbroken. Chadwick Boseman is widely known and popular for playing the lead role in the blockbuster Marvel film, Black Panther which came out in 2018.

Chadwick played the role of the King of Wakanda in Black Panther and his performance received highly positive reviews. Chadwick has also featured in other Marvel films like Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Chadwick's last film will be Ma Rainey's Black Bottom which is currently in post production stages. An official statement from Chadwick's family reads, "It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.

It was the honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.
