Thalapathy's Bigil producers AGS Entertainments' Kalpathi brothers donate Rs. 15 Lakhs to FEFSI!
The COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic has changed the face of the Earth and life as we knew it is no longer the same! The world is still trying to come to terms with this deadly disease and the thousands of lives it has already claimed and the hundreds of thousands of people it has already infected! Governments of various countries are going all out to prevent the spread of this Virus and the Indian government has also announced a 21-day lockdown across the country. People are being asked to remain indoors and practice social distancing and self isolation to ensure the safety of their families and themselves! This has caused the livelihoods of daily wage workers to be affected and there are many such workers in the Cinema field, whose families have been affected by the lack of income!
FEFSI - the organization that handles the affairs of all the technicians in the Tamil Cinem industry has been working hard to provide some relief to the thousands of its members, who are suffering from the lack of work and income. Many celebrities of Kollywood have been coming forward and contributing for the relief efforts of FEFSI by donating money or rice bags. The latest to extend their support for FEFSI during these testing times is the AGS Entertainment banner, which is owned by the brothers - Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh & Kalpathi S Suresh! The three brothers have together donated Rs. 15 Lakhs towards the relief efforts of FEFSI, for its Union members! The last production venture from the AGS Entertainment banner was Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil, which was directed by Atlee.
