Bigg Boss sensation and popular actress Hina Khan is the latest film personality to have tested positive for Covid - 19 virus. She took to her official Instagram page to share the news with her fans and followers. Hina Khan assured that she is doing well and asked the people who came in close contact with her in the recent past, to get themselves tested. It can be noted that Hina Khan's father, Aslam Khan had passed away recently (on April 20) and in a span of few days, the actress has tested positive for Covid. The fans are praying for the actress' speedy recovery and let us hope that she returns to normalcy soon.

Hina Khan's official statement read, "In these extremely difficult and challenging times for me & my family, I have tested positive for Covid - 19. Following the guidance of my doctors, I have home quarantined myself and taking all necessary precautions. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. All I need is your prayers. Be safe and take care. ".

For the unversed, Hina Khan is a popular Hindi television and film actress who has a huge fan following on social media. Hina Khan is widely known among the audiences for playing the character of Akshara in Star Plus serial, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She also featured in some of the popular television reality shows like Indian Idol, Box Cricket League 2, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, and the widely popular Bigg Boss. Hina participated in the 11th season of Bigg Boss Hindi, hosted by Salman Khan and she emerged as the first runner-up of the show.

Hina earned huge support among the household audience through Bigg Boss. Hina also participated in the ongoing 14th season of Bigg Boss Hindi, as a guest (senior contestant). She left the house after a two-week stint. On the professional front, she was last seen in an important role in the web series, Damaged 2.
