The Telugu movie Ninnu Kori, starring Nani, Nivetha Thomas and Aadhi Pinisetty, was directed by Shiva Nirvana and this 2017 movie turned out to become one of the biggest blockbusters of Tollywood, in that year! This romantic drama is now being remade in Tamil by director R Kannan. Young heartthrob Atharvaa Murali, Anupama Parameswaran and Amitash Pradhan are playing the lead in this upcoming project. The last schedule of this movie was wrapped up recently, at Azerbaijan and we now have an exciting update on this project!

Anupama Parameswaran has taken to her Twitter handle to reveal that the first look of the Tamil remake of Ninnu Kori, would be released tomorrow (18/02/2020)! Director Kannan is also bankrolling this project under his Masala Pix banner, in association with MK Ramprasad's MKRP Productions banner. Reports suggest that Atharvaa is reprising Nani's role while Amitash is playing Aadhi's! The rest of this movie's cast includes Aadukalam Naren, Jagan, Kaali Venkat and Vidyullekha Raman.

'96 fame Shanmugha Sundaram is handling the cinematography of this upcoming project, which has editing by RK Selva. It was while travelling to Azerbaijan for the final schedule of this project that Atharvaa got stranded at the Dubai airport for over 24 hours, due to the runway getting flooded. Atharvaa has a number of movies in various stages of production, including Othaikku Othai, Kuruthi Aattam and Rukkumani Vandi Varuthu!
