According to the latest reliable reports in Kollywood, director Ram will be teaming up with popular Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly for a new film and it will be a Tamil - Malayalam bilingual film. It is said that Nivin Pauly was highly impressed with Ram's script. Popular Tamil PRO, Nikil Murugan took to his official Twitter page to share the news and it has taken the fans by surprise. The official announcement regarding the project is expected to be made in the next few days. Once Nivin Pauly completes his current set of commitments, the shoot of this new project will begin. Nivin Pauly is one of the most natural actors we have in the country and it is going to be interesting to see him perform under Ram's direction.

Nivin Pauly's next release will be Thuramukham, which is a historical drama, directed by acclaimed cinematographer, Rajeev Ravi. Thuramukham features Poornima Indrajith, Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Arjun Ashokan, Darshana Rajendran, Nimisha Sajayan, Sudev Nair, in supporting roles. The film was initially supposed to release on May 13, but owing to the second wave of Covid-19 across the country, the film's release has been postponed to a later date.
