It was recently revealed that actors Satyadev and Tamannaah would star in the Telugu remake of the recent critically acclaimed Kannada film Love Mocktail. We had also reported about it. Following that, the title of this remake film has now been announced. Yes! This Satyadev - Tamannaah starrer will be called Gurthunda Seethakalam. The announcement about the title was made this morning (August 24). Talking to Times Of India about the project, the film’s director Nagasekhar said, “With Satyadev and Tamannaah acting in it, a lot of buzz has been generated. I received a lot of calls after the announcement, which makes me believe the audience is excited for the film. We received good price for the audio rights which makes us believe this film will be a success,”.

Apart from directing, Nagasekhar will also produce the film along with Bhavna Ravi. Legendary composer M.M.Keeravani's son, Kaala Bhairava has been announced to compose the music, while Satya Hegde will work as the cinematographer. The film’s shooting is expected to begin after the pandemic and currently the makers are busy with the pre-production works. Satyadev's recent release Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya received rave reviews from the critics and general audience and the talented actor will be looking forward to continuing the success streak with Gurthunda Seethakalam as well.

Tamannaah was last seen featuring in a special dance number in Mahesh Babu's blockbuster hit, Sarileru Neekevvaru. She has two projects in Telugu namely, That Is Mahalakshmi (remake of Queen) and Seetimaarr, which are in different stages of production. The talented actress will also be seen in an upcoming Tamil web series that has been made for Disney + Hotstar OTT platform. Titled as The November's Story, this web series is directed by Ram Subramanian and has cinematography by LKG and Oh My Kadavule fame Vidhu Ayyanna.

Talking about Love Mocktail, it was a film that garnered a lot of attention among the film buffs this year. This Kannada romantic drama was released in the beginning of this year and it opened to a very good reception from the fans. However, the film became widely popular across boundaries after its digital release on Prime Video. People from various parts of the world shared their reviews on social media and the film got highly positive feedback. Love Mocktail starred Darling Krishna and Milana Nagaraj in the lead roles, while Amrutha Iyengar, Rachana Inder, Abhilash formed the supporting cast. The second part of this film was recently announced by the makers and the fans are super excitedly waiting for the shooting to start.
