One of the most popular professional wrestlers who made a very successful transition to acting and is widely considered to be the highest-paid Hollywood actor of current times - Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, has a very huge fan following. In what came as crushing news earlier today, it was revealed that Dwayne Johnson, his wife Lauren and their daughters had all tested positive for COVID-19, a couple of weeks ago. The Rock himself took to his Instagram post to announce this news but also posted the good news that his family and him are far better now.

Dwayne Johnson's Instagram post carried a 11-minute video and a very encouraging & positive message for his followers. The video stated that despite being disciplined about their health, he, his wife Lauren (35) and their daughters Jazzy & Tia, had still tested positive for COVID-19, about two-and-a-half weeks ago! He added, "This was one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family, and personally too. This is so much different than getting nasty injuries or being broke, which I have been multiple times in my life. My number one priority is to protect my family. I wish it was only me, but it wasn’t so it is a real kick in the gut. But I am happy to tell you that we as a family are good, on the other side of it, and we are no longer contagious. We have gotten through Covid-19 stronger and healthier.”

The video also had the Jumanji star explaining that he and his family had contacted the Corona Virus from close family friends. The Rock mentioned that everybody has to be more aggressive about being extra cautious before getting into contact with anybody else, irrespective of how close they are and mentioned that all the controllables be kept controlled. Dwayne Johnson also urged everybody to have a greater commitment to health and wellness and do everything to boost their immunity systems. He asked his fans & followers to wear masks at all times and reiterated that a mask was not a political thing but a fact that it is necessary at all times. While it is indeed great to know that The Rock and his family are well and have recovered after being affected by COVID, it goes to show that the deadly virus doesn't differentiate between anybody and affects everybody indiscriminately.
