The makers of the Nivin Pauly starrer Saturday Night just dropped the trailer and it seems to be a fun-filled joyride. Written by Naveen Bhaskar of Anuraga Karikkin Vellam fame and directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film is bankrolled by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films. The film also stars Siju Wilson, Aju Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Grace Antony, Saniya Iyappan, and Malavika Sreenath among others.

The trailer that was released just recently shows a group of four close friends who go on a trip together and the journey they all ensue upon forms the story. It features glimpses of various mixes of emotions and feelings that captivate the audience given its upbeat background score and lovely visuals. Billed as a friendship drama, the film follows the escapade of four close friends. Their bond is broken after Saiju Kurup's character gets unhappily married to Grace Antony's character.

This will be the second that Nivin Pauly is collaborating with director Rosshan Andrrews as the two of them have previously worked together on the 2018 Malayalam action historical action film Kayamkulam Kochunni. According to the makers, it is a tale of friendship, love, and laughter. The film has Aslam K Purayil as the cinematographer and Jakes Bejoy as the music director. T Shivanandeeswaran is the editor.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nivin Pauly was last seen in the fantasy comedy film Mahaveeryar. Besides Saturday Night, he has three other films in the pipeline. These are Padavettu helmed by debutant director Liju Krishna, an untitled Tamil film directed by Ram of Taramani fame and Rajeev Ravi's period action drama film Thuramukham.
