A woman who has embodied talent and passion in her stellar career - Jyotika, was last on screens in the recently released Thambi. This movie marked the first time collaboration between Jyotika and her brother-in-law Karthi. Now, she is awaiting the release of her upcoming movie Ponmagal Vandhal, which is all set to hit the theatres on March 27! Directed by JJ Fredrick and bankrolled by Suriya's 2D Entertainment, this movie is said to be a heroine-centric project. Now, on the occasion of International Women's Day, the Ponmagal Vandhal team has released the second look from the movie!

Jyotika is playing a lawyer in Ponmagal Vandhal and it was earlier revealed that she would also be championing for girl child rights, in this movie. The second look poster comes with a powerful tagline - "Justice delayed is Injustice"! The buzz around this movie gives off the feel of an intense entertainer in the offing. Earlier, the first single from Ponmagal Vandhal - 'Vaa Chellam', in Brindha Sivakumar's voice, was released and it turned out to be a lovely number under Govind Vasantha's composition.

The cast of Ponmagal Vandhal includes a number of veterans like K Bhagyaraj, Pandiarajan, R Parthiban and Prathap Pothen. Ramji is handling the cinematography of this movie, which has editing by Ruben. A couple of finishing touch shots were canned for Ponmagal Vandhal recently and a source close to the unit reveals that all work is on track to meet the release deadline!
