Prabhas, who was last seen in the stylish action thriller, Saaho, is waiting to resume shooting for his untitled next (Prabhas 20), directed by KK Radha Krishna. This period romantic drama features Pooja Hegde as the female lead and it is produced by UV Creations. After completing this mega biggie, Prabhas would be teaming up with director Nag Ashwin of Mahanati / Nadigaiyar Thilagam fame for Prabhas 21. This film, which will be produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, is tentatively scheduled to release in April 2022.

The latest reports in Tollywood suggest that director Nag Ashwin has approached Arvind Swami to play the antagonist in the film, locking horns against Prabhas. It is said that the talks are on between the two parties. Arvind Swami’s last Telugu film was Dhruva, the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan, that starred Ram Charan in the lead role. If Arvind Swami happens to sign Prabhas 21, it will mark his comeback to Telugu cinema. An official word on this news is awaited.

Currently, Arvind Swami has quite a few interesting projects in his line-up including Vanangamudi, Kallapart, and the two long-delayed films, Naragasooran and Sathuranga Vettai 2. Arvind Swami will also be seen playing the role of M.G.Ramachandran in Thalaivi, which is the biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalitha. Directed by Vijay, Kangana Ranaut will be seen as the lead in the titular role.
