It has been a year since the release of K.G.F: Chapter 2, which saw 'Rocking Star' Yash return as Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka. Rocky, with the period action film directed by Prashanth Neel turning out to be a phenomenal box office success. With K.G.F: Chapter 3 hinted towards the end, expectations are high among fans to witness the Kannada superstar once again return as Rocky. There has also been a lot of talk regarding Yash's next and Malayalam actress-filmmaker Geetu Mohandas being in contention to direct the venture, with no official statement released as yet. That being said, in what could be the first big hint of Geetu Mohandas boarding the tentatively titled Yash 19 has come from actress Rima Kallingal, who took to her Instagram Stories to wish the Malayalam filmmaker.
Rima Kallingal, who is best known among Tamil cinema fans for starring in films like Yuvan Yuvathi and Chithirai Sevvaanam, including a special appearance in Ko, shared a post about Yash 19 on her Insta Story, and wished Geetu Mohandas writing, "Ma babeeeeeee here people 💙", while tagging the filmmaker. Geetu, who played the heroine in Tamil films like Nala Damayanthi (2003) and K. Balachander's final directorial Poi (2006), has established herself to be a prolific filmmaker in Malayalam cinema after winning two National Awards for her 2014 directorial Liar's Dice in Hindi. With Rima Kallingal's latest statement taking social media by storm, fans are now waiting for the official announcement on Yash 19, which will no doubt be huge considering KGF 2 became a nationwide box office success. As for KGF: 3, Yash will be waiting for filmmaker Prashanth Neel to finish filming Salaar with Prabhas after which he is expected to progress to begin shooting NTR 31 with RRR star Jr. NTR.
