The team of Temple Monkeys, a popular Tamil YouTube channel known for creating fun-filled short videos, will be doing a new web series in Tamil and the series will stream on a leading OTT platform. The new web series is directed by Vijay Varadharaj who is one of the founders of Temple Monkeys, and also the man behind the creation of several viral hit YouTube videos. Vijay has already completed his directorial debut film, Pallu Padama Paathukka, an adult zombie-comedy entertainer, which stars Attakathi Dinesh and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles. The film is fully complete and ready for release. We may expect the film to be out when the theatres reopen.

Meanwhile, Vijay Varadharaj has started his next project, a web series which is titled Kuthuku Pathu. The web series was officially launched with a formal Pooja yesterday (July 19) and the shoot is happening in full swing. The series will be produced by AKV Durai under the banner of D Company. Kuthuku Pathu comprises 8 episodes with an ensemble star cast of Aadukalam Naren, Bose Venkat, Vijay Varadharaj, Sha Ra, Abdool, Augustin, Dhileepan, Badree, Sengi Velu, Divagar, Jhonny, and others.

Bigg Boss Tamil sensation Samyuktha is also said to play an important role in this project. Director Susienthiran, who was the chief guest for the launch event, clapped for the first shot and wished the team for a grand success. On the technical front, Kuthuku Pathu will have cinematography by Jagdeesh Ravichandran, musical score by Balamurali Bala, editing by Shanthosh Senthil (Shifty), art direction by Madhan Kumar and stunt choreography by Danger Mani.

Talking about the project, Vijay Varadharaj said, "It’s an out-and-out comedy-drama that will engross youth audiences. Every crew member has finished taking the complete dose of vaccinations, which has instilled a lease of great assurance for a smooth shooting process.
