Yesterday (June 21), the title of Thalapathy 65 was revealed to be Beast and the first look poster of the movie was also unveiled. The poster featured Vijay holding a shotgun in his hand and his look for the film was revealed for the first time. The poster created a huge buzz on social media and the stylishly designed picture impressed the majority of the fans. Beast is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor fame and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film features Pooja Hegde as the female lead, marking her return to Tamil cinema after 9 long years.

The first look poster of Beast has gone viral among the fans and film buffs and people are already looking forward to seeing the movie on the big screen. The film's director Nelson Dilipkumar shared some interesting details about the film in the recent Twitter spaces session which happened last night to celebrate Thalapathy Vijay's birthday. During the interactive session, director Nelson revealed how Vijay reacted to the first look poster. Talking about it, he said, "Vijay sir is someone who does not show his excitement or happiness openly. He looked at the picture silently for a few minutes. After observing the picture, he told me that it was nice and looked good.

He said that he liked it. He is always very subtle in his reactions. Even after getting to spend time with him for the last few months, I am yet to know him fully. I have not cracked the code yet. He will always keep you in a confusion. Only after asking him twice or thrice, I will be assured that he likes it". These words from Nelson has gone viral and the fans were delighted to know how their favourite star reacted to the first look poster of Beast. The first schedule of Beast was completed in Georgia and the makers are planning to begin the second schedule in Chennai.

If reports are to be believed, the next schedule is expected to start in July.
