RIP: Steven Spielberg's Jaws actress Lee Fierro passes away due to Corona Virus at 91!
It pains us to write about the increasing number of fatalities due to the ongoing COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic. This deadly Virus has already claimed thousands of lives worldwide and infected lots of thousands more. Many people including leading celebrities have lost their lives to the Corona Virus or other illnesses brought on by it and the latest to lose their live's battle to this Virus is Lee Fierro! This veteran Hollywood actress is well known for her roles in the Jaws movies, which were directed by Steven Spielberg. Lee Fierro, who was living on Martha's Vineyard, in Massachussetts (where Jaws was originally filmed), had moved into an assisted living facility, in Ohio!
Lee Fierro had also worked as a mentor and director at the Island Theatre Workshop, where she has trained over a 1000 students and directed over a 100 school plays. Fierro, is famous for her role as the grieving mother Mrs. Kintner, in the Jaws movie, which released in 1975. She is survived by five children and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lee Fierro is said to have succumbed to illnesses brought on by the Corona Virus and news of her demise was confirmed to the media by Kevin Ryan, the Artistic Director & Board President of the Island Theatre Workshop.
