SP Balasubrahmanyam's son SP Charan has been regularly updating the fans about his father's health condition who has been admitted to the MGM Healthcare after SPB was tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

In his latest video statement, SP Charan broke down while thanking the fans and celebrities for coming together for the mass prayer today (August 21th). SP Charan said, "The hospital has mentioned the stable today. He was critical yesterday. Until yesterday, he was listed by the doctors and the medical team as critical. Today's press release from the hospital says he is stable. They did not use the word critical. But that doesn't mean he is completely recovered. What it means is that there are no complications and his vitals are working just fine. As I keep saying, we have complete faith and confidence in the medical team and in the prayers that are coming out way. We are very very glad and happy today that he is been listed as stable. I again thank each and every one of you for the prayers, the love and the concern that has been showered upon him and his family. Keep the prayers coming. There is a long road to recovery but a sure road to recovery. Thank you all and God bless you all."
