The 20-year-old rapper & singer YNW Melly is one of controversy's favourite children and he was recently jailed after being arrested on double murder charges. He had earlier been jailed for drug usage too. Jammell Maurice Demons, who is known popularly as YNW Melly, has been arrested on charges of murdering two of his friends - Christopher Thomas Jr. and Anthony Williams, in 2018. He has however been pleading guilty and is in the Broward County Jail in Florida, awaiting trial. While in prison, Melly has tested positive for the Corona Virus and this has been put up on social media, through his official Instagram account!

Rapper YNW Melly tests positive for Corona Virus in Prison

The post says that Melly has tested positive for the COVID-19, while awaiting trial at the Broward County Jail and that he has demanded restricted release from the prison, in hopes of better care. The post mentions that YNW Melly has stated that the jails are not prepared to treat this virus and that he hopes for his fans' support for his recovery and release, soon! The state of Florida in the USA is a hotbed for the Virus and has over 9000 people affected and has already lost more than 140 lives. There have been two total cases of people testing positive for the Virus, at the Broward County prison and the rooms the victims were housed in, have been placed under quarantine.
