A film that has generated plenty of excitement among Tamil cinema fans ever since its announcement last year is the upcoming Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar-starrer, Oh Manapenne, under Kaarthikk Sundar's direction. An official remake of the smash hit Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey Telugu rom com, Pelli Choopulu, which came out in 2016, promotions for Oh Manapenne have once again resumed as the Tamil version's lead stars had sometime back shared new stills from the film thereby raising the curiosity among fans. That said, it has now been officially announced that the second single track titled 'Bodhai Kaname' has been sung by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander and will be releasing in the days ahead. 

Produced by Satyanarayana Koneru & Ramesh Varma Penmetsa's SP Cinemas banner with Madhav Media & Third Eye Entertainment handling the release of Oh Manapenne, a special promo video for the 'Bodhai Kaname' track has now been released on the occasion of Harish Kalyan's birthday today and gives us a glimpse of new visuals from the film. The song promo starts off with visuals from Harish Kalyan's Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum, which had the chart-buster 'Kannamma' song, with the revelation then coming that 'Bodhai Kaname' in Oh Manapenne has been sung by Anirudh, who had crooned the earlier track from the 2019 hit. 

Featuring music by Vishal Chandrashekhar, the 'Bodhai Kaname' song in Oh Manapenne has been penned by lyricist Vivek. The first single track in Oh Manapenne titled 'Lazy Song" was released in February earlier this year and turned out to be a hit. Apart from Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar, the film's star cast includes Anbuthasan, Abishek Kumar, Ashwin Kumar, Venuu Arvind, KSG Venkatesh, Anish Kuruvilla, Samyuktha Viswanathan among others, with Mohan Rajan and Niranjan Bharathi as lyricists other than Vivek and composer Vishal Chandrashekar. Oh Manapenne's technical team comprises cinematographer Krishnan Vasant, Kripakaran for the editing, art director Sadhish. K, costume design by G Anusha Meenakshi and dialogues written by Deepak Sundarrajan. The film has been adapted from Tharun Bhascker's story, with Deepak Sundarrajan, Sanjeev and Kaarthikk Sundar contributing on the additional screenplay front.
