With less than a month to go for the release of House of the Dragon, which is the prequel to Game of Thrones and easily one of the most anticipated TV series for a long time, fans are not able to contain their excitement. Especially after the several clips that the makers have been dropping here and there in order to hype up and build up the excitement for it. Taking in all this, fans are waiting to return to Westeros once again.

Speaking of returning to Westeros, the makers of House of the Dragon have yet again dropped a new behind-the-scenes featurette titled 'Returning to Westeros'. The clip is nearly 5 minutes long and features the cast and crew sharing the thrills and challenges of entering the world of Game of Thrones, and approaching it when the Targaryens were at the height of their power.

They make comparisons to its successor show which was a massive contribution to pop culture, discuss the scope and scale of the new drama and also talk about the challenges of creating a new story that will live up to the original. Besides that, we also get a peek into a lot of BTS footage which gives us a taste of what the upcoming show will have to offer.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen, which is the only family of dragonlords to survive the Doom of Valyria. It will take place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and focus on the events leading up to and covering the Targaryen war of succession, known as the 'Dance of the Dragons'.

The 10-episode series will have an ensemble cast comprising of Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Milly Alcock, and Emily Carey among many others.
