The deadly COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic has crippled the world economy and brought about a never-seen-before situation to people across the world! All countries have suspended any form of travel between borders and most nations are in lockdown mode to prevent the spread of the already rampaging Virus. The United States of America is one of the most badly hit nations with over 7,50,000 people testing positive for the Virus, making it the nation with the most number of affected cases. The casualties also number over 40,500, as per media records! The US President Donald Trump has been expressing his angst and disappointment with China over the handling of the COVID outbreak and now, he has come up with yet another drastic measure!

In a latest post on his official Twitter account, Donal Trump has revealed that he would be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the USA. Trump states that this measure is being undertaken in light of the attack from the 'Invisible Enemy' as well as the need to protect the jobs of the 'GREAT American Citizens'. In the four weeks of the lockdown in America, a record 22 million citizens have sought unemployment benefits, almost wiping out all the job gains since the Great Recession. There has been a record drop in retail sales in March, all across the USA and the factory outputs have seen the biggest decline, since 1946. Such unprecedented times call for drastic measures. Let's hope we flatten the curve soon.
