Ajith's villain transforms as a transgender - watch the video!

‘Thala’ Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai released a couple of months back has gone on to become a critical and commercial success for director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner, Apart from Ajith’s performance being hailed by critics and fans alike, the film was primarily a multi-starrer and featured several notable names among whom Malayalam actor Sujith Shankar too delivered a convincing performance as one of the antagonists, which also was incidentally his debut in Tamil cinema. Now, Sujith Shankar is all set to be seen in a completely different avatar as he plays the role of a transgender in the upcoming Nivin Pauly starrer, Moothon, under Nala Damayanthi heroine Geethu Mohandas’ direction.

The Moothon trailer released yesterday sees Sujith Shankar as a transgender and dancing on the streets leaving fans surprised who are now expecting him to deliver a knockout performance. Being planned for a theatrical release soon, Moothon has been jointly produced by MiniStudio & Jar Pictures Production in association with Paragon Pictures with acclaimed Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap penning the dialogues in Hindi. Apart from Nivin Pauly and Sujith Shankar, the upcoming action crime drama is a Malayalam-Hindi bilingual and also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Shashank Arora and Melissa Raju Thomas with the plot revolving around a boy searching for his elder brother.
