A film that has been generating a lot of excitement right from the beginning among fans is the upcoming Vishal and Arya-starrer titled Enemy, which came to a wrap recently. Directed by Anand Shankar of Arimba Nambi, Iru Mugan and NOTA fame, the film is touted to be an intense action thriller and will see Vishal as the hero, who is pitted against Arya as the villain. With the complete production wrapped, Anand Shankar took to social media on Friday to drop the much-awaited announcement informing fans that the Enemy teaser will be released on July 24 at 6 pm.

Unveiling a special Enemy teaser poster featuring Vishal and Arya, we see them with blood stains and bruises on their faces implying that the film will be high on action. The film is Vishal's 30th and Arya's 32nd ventures marking their second collaboration together in a full-length project after almost a decade when they last appeared in National Award-winning director Bala’s Avan Ivan in 2011. Up until now, only a few stills showing the two stars have come out and have received a largely positive response, with fans now waiting for the first visuals from the Enemy teaser showing their face-off.

Produced by Vinoth under the Mini Studios banner, Enemy's star cast also includes Dubsmash and Tik Tok fame Mirnalini Ravi for whom it will be her next big screen appearance after her debut in acclaimed director Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Super Deluxe and has been paired this time opposite Vishal. The film also has Malayalam actress and filmmaker Mamta Mohandas in a pivotal role for whom it is her second time working in a Vishal venture after her Tamil cinema debut in Sivappathigaram in 2006 and will be seen with National Award-winning actor Prakash Raj. Enemy will have music by composer S. Thaman, with the background score done by Sam C. S, followed by the technical crew featuring names like RD Rajasekar for the cinematography, Raymond Derrick Crasta for the editing, T Ramalingam for the art direction and Ravi Verma for the stunts. Youth sensation Arivu has penned the lyrics for the songs, with Shan Karuppusamy and S Ramakrishnan writing the film's dialogues.
