‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Bigil has finally hit screens today worldwide with a stunning opening and marks the third occasion the superstar has teamed up with director Atlee after their previous blockbusters, Theri and Mersal. With the action sports entertainer now out in theatres, reviews have been pouring ever since gates to cinema halls were opened early today morning for the preview shows. Likewise, there has been a certain bit of negativity that has been spreading across social networking forums with actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, an ardent admirer of Vijay, taking to his Twitter page to post his own opinion after watching Bigil and also conveying a strong message to all those who engage in fan wars. In his tweets, Shanthanu spoke about Bigil praising Vijay for giving importance to the film's content while also addressing a certain section of the fans for questioning the actor’s performance in the Rayappan character as being the same as his previous portrayals. He also showered laurels on Atlee for laying emphasis on the value of women while declaring the film to be strong. Shanthanu addressed fans again telling them to not waste their time by abusing and fighting irrespective of whomever their uphold as their idol and added saying that certain star whom they are targeting will only ignore them. Fans will know that Shanthanu Bhagyaraj was recently announced to be part of Vijay’s next film, Thalapathy 64, under director Lokesh Kanagaraj, which will also include ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Malayalam actor Antony Varghese among others in supporting roles and is being produced by Xavier Britto under the XB Film Creators banner. Believed to be an intense action film, Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for Thalapathy 64, which will be coming out as a summer 2020 release. Production on the film has been progressing at a steady pace since the beginning of this month in locations across Chennai with the team set to head to Delhi for their next schedule from October 27 for 20 days till the third week of November.
