Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is all set to turn a television host for the second time through a new show, Master Chef Tamil, which will be aired on Sun TV. Master Chef Tamil is a cookery show where the best cooking talents fight for a title and unlike the previous cookery shows in Tamil, this one is expected to be quite serious and strongly content-driven. Of course, the show will have its own share of entertainment, as well. As part of the show's promotions, Vijay Sethupathi interacted with the press and media. In an exclusive interview with Galatta Media, Vijay Sethupathi opened up about several interesting topics.

While he was asked if he has any reply to his haters and the ones who post negatively about him, he said, "I pity them. They are helpless people. Whatever they say or abuse about me, will not have any effect since I am very distant. It is not a problem for me. But, it is a big problem for the people in his/her circle. When people are in contact with negative minded people, it is highly dangerous and pitiful. Friends and families should only worry about it. I am distant from these people and their posts would never reach me. Very rarely, I come across such posts, but I ignore them completely. Being negative is a disease and so the ones near those negative minded people should only be careful. Being around toxic people is dangerous".

Vijay Sethupathi's next release will most likely be Tughlaq Durbar which is rumoured to have a direct OTT release. However, an official word is awaited. His upcoming lineup of projects include Kadaisi Vivasayi, Maamanithan, Laabam, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Annabelle Subramaniam, Viduthalai, Mumbaikar (Hindi debut), and an untitled film with director Ponram. Vijay Sethupathi is also a part of Kamal Haasan's Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
