Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil is right now the hot topic in K-town as the film which released for the festive occasion of Diwali has opened to an outstanding response at the box office. This sports action drama film, directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment, has already crossed the 100 crore mark and is progressing towards an even more bigger number. As far as the Chennai city box office is concerned, the film has done a very good performance in its opening weekend of the first three days. As per the reports, the film has collected an approximate of Rs 5.26 crores in its first three days.

Talking about the phenomenal box office performance, Rakesh Gowthaman, Managing Director of Vettri Theatres (Chrompet) has revealed that an extra early morning show has been added for tomorrow (October 29). An important point to be noted here is that the Diwali weekend ends with today and all the people will be getting back to work and colleges from tomorrow, but despite the regular working day, the management has added a special show stating that the ticket pressure is huge.

This special show has been scheduled at morning 7.20 AM and will be played at the Vettri main screen with RGB Laser projection. Rakesh also mentioned that all the shows of Bigil that were played so far went with fully packed audience. Bigil has earned the support of the fans and the family audience, especially the women, who seem to relate to the film's core emotion and the message. With music by A.R.Rahman and cinematography by G.K.Vishnu, Bigil features Nayanthara as the female lead and Jackie Shroff as the antagonist.

I expect this to continue even tomorrow with the regular shows cos they are already 70% full. So added a 7.20 am spl morning show tomorrow (Tuesday) to ease out the pressure :)
