Harish Kalyan’s Dharala Prabhu, unfortunately had only three to four days of theatrical run since the theatres were immediately closed due to the national lockdown to contain the spread of Corona virus. However, the film had its digital release on Amazon Prime recently and since then, the team of Dharala Prabhu are poured in with wishes and positive reviews from all quarters. Director Venkat Prabhu took to his Twitter space to share his liking for the film and the performances of the lead actors.

He tweeted, “Whatta fun ride #DharalaPrabhuOnPrime starring @harishkalyan, @tanyahope & @actorvivekh is! It is definitely a feel good watch! My best wishes to the entire cast & the crew for the fantastic digital premiere on @PrimeVideoIN!” It is quite usual for a film to be talked about among the public as each film is being made only for them, but in Dharala Prabhu’s case, interestingly, celebrities have also given their positive feedback and let us hope this trend follows in Tamil cinema.

Produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment and directed by Krishna Marimuthu, Dharala Prabhu is the Tamil remake of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Vicky Donor, which deals with sperm donation and infertility.
