Director Venkat Prabhu has now launched his new venture as an entrepreneur and this looks to be an exciting development indeed. Venkat Prabhu has started a new streaming platform / OTT service named Black Ticket Cinemas and the website will stream films on the basis of pay per view. Venkat Prabhu already owns a production company that is called Black Ticket Company and the OTT service is now named Black Ticket Cinemas. It is said that the cost will be fixed at a very affordable and reasonable rate. Black Ticket Cinemas has been opened outside India for now and the first film that will stream on the platform will be Kasadatabara.

Director Chimbu Deven's Kasadatabara is all set to release on August 27 in India through Sony Liv streaming platform and the film will be available for the overseas audience through Black Ticket Cinemas. Venkat Prabhu took to his official Twitter page to share this delightful update with his followers and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters. Venkat Prabhu tweeted, "This is a next big step! The OTT streaming service is expected to open in India very soon and director Venkat Prabhu is said to be working on acquiring contents for the same. On the directorial front, Venkat Prabhu has completed his next film, Maanaadu which stars Silambarasan TR in the lead role. The film's shoot is completed and the post production works are happening in full swing. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, the film has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Richard M Nathan. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead in this film that has SJ Suryah playing the antagonist.
