Varane Avashyamundu is Malayalam film written and directed by Anoop Sathyan who happens to be the son of popular filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad. Anoop has made his directorial debut this feel-good family drama produced by Dulquer Salmaan. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, Shobana and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles while the is composed by Alphons Joseph. Suresh Gopi is making a comeback to Malayalam films after a gap of 5 long years. The film also marked the on-screen collaboration of Suresh Gopi and Shobana after a period of 14 years, after working together in Makalkku (2005). 
 
Varane Avashyamund released last Friday (7th of February) in Kerala and the reviews have been largely favourable. The film about the lives of single mother Neena and her daughter Nikitha, who wants to get hitched only through an arranged marriage, takes a turn after Major Unnikrishnan and a youngster called Fraud come to live in their apartment complex. Varane Avashyamund is jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan's home banner Wayfarer Productions and M Star Entertainments which is distributed by Play House Release. Now the makers have released a video song called ‘Unnikrishnan’ which shows the beautiful chemistry between Suresh Gopi and Shobana. Check it out:
