Sixteen-year-old actor Logan Williams, known for playing the younger version of the DC Comics superhero character Barry Allen aka. The Flash on The CW show, The Flash, passed away on April 2. His death was confirmed by his mother, Marlyse Williams, although the reason for his sudden demise is yet to be known.

Born in Canada, Logan Williams is also known for his roles in popular TV shows such Supernatural and The Whispers apart from the hit superhero series, The Flash. With the news of his death leaving fans and many in Hollywood in a state of shock, The Flash actor, Grant Gustin, who plays the lead character, Barry Allen, took to his Instagram page to post a throwback picture of himself with Logan Williams and Jesse L. Martin while also penning his heartfelt emotional condolences.

Grant wrote, “Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly. This picture was early in the filming of The Flash pilot episode back in 2014. I was so impressed by not only Logan’s talent but his professionalism on set. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I’m sure an unimaginably difficult time for them. Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all. Sending love to everyone.”
