A film that instantly became the talk of the town even prior to its official announcement last year, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's upcoming Beast, which had its title and the first and second look posters unveiled on the occasion of the superstar's birthday a few days back, continues to excite fans more and more as each day passes by. Being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila and the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Doctor, which is yet to release, Beast is a Sun Pictures venture and is set to be one of the biggest productions to date. With the second schedule of the film already now in progress in Chennai, Sun Pictures on Friday evening released two pictures from the Beast sets where we see Vijay and Nelson doing the honors in celebrating leading choreographer Jani Master's birthday.

We see Jani hugging Vijay, with Nelson Dilipkumar at the Beast sets gifting him a flower bouquet and thereby kickstarting the celebrations for the popular choreographer, who worked along with Prabhu Deva on the global hit "Rowdy Baby" in the 2018 film, Maari 2, starring Dhanush and Sai Pallavi. Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, "Rowdy Baby" became a phenomenal global success as it was the first South Indian song to cross 1 billion views on YouTube. As for Beast, a song shoot is said to be progressing in a massive closed set specially erected for the film in Chennai, which will see Vijay paired opposite Pooja Hegde. The expectations for Beast have shot up since the film's two posters were released promising fans that the film will be an out-and-out mass action thriller. The buzz for the film is stupendous considering it marks Vijay's fourth-time collaboration with Sun Pictures after they distributed his Vettaikaaran and Sura, while producing the blockbuster 2018 action political drama, Sarkar. Beast also marks Pooja Hegde's return to Tamil cinema almost a decade after her debut in Mysskin's Mugamoodi, with 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander's addition as well another a major USP considering his two previous associations with Vijay in Kaththi and Master resulted in chart-buster albums.
