There have been a lot of controversies and mysteries surrounding the tragic death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The 34 year old actor died by suicide in the second week of June, but it is being doubted by a wide number of people that there is something more to it. Mumbai Police and Bihar Police officials are working together and investigating the case. The entire issue took a drastic shift when Sushant’s father KK Singh came out and filed an FIR complaint against Sushant’s girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty. It created a huge buzz among the people and many people extended their support to Sushant’s father. The Supreme Court has now announced that the Central Bureau of Investigation will take over the probe of Sushant Singh Rajput. The Court also has apparently pronounced that the verdict on Rhea Chakraborty's case will be transferred to Mumbai.

According to ANI, “Supreme Court began pronouncing verdict on actor Rhea Chakraborty's petition seeking transfer of investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case from Patna in Bihar to Mumbai. FIR registered at Patna was correct. The state of Maharashtra refused the option to challenge the order, says Supreme Court. Supreme Court orders CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case.” This news should make all Sushant Singh Rajput fans and family happy who are waiting to know the truth behind his death.

The Bihar government had referred the Patna FIR to the CBI, leading the Centre to ask the investigating agency to take up the case. However, Maharashtra government had opposed the Centre's decision to hand over the case to CBI and said the Patna FIR should be transferred to Mumbai police in whose jurisdiction the incident happened. Mumbai police are yet to register an FIR and have continued their inquiry under an accidental death report. Before concluding the hearing on August 14, Justice Roy had recorded that Chakraborty was not opposed to a CBI probe. "You may be correct in saying that you have been a victim of media focus on the case but your stand is that if CBI probe is ordered into the incident, you have no objection." We hope the Sushant's family and his fans get to know the real truth behind his death very soon. Stay tuned!
