The Coronavirus pandemic continues to bring loss of life across the world with over 30,000 declared to be dead and over 2 million affected by the dreaded disease to date. As no cure has yet been found, people have been advised to follow social distancing and self-isolation for a period of time till things settle down. In the midst of such dire times and many reputed names from entertainment across the world falling prey to the COVID-19 outbreak, popular actor Andrew Jack, know for his performances in the blockbuster Star Wars films, breathed his last on Tuesday (March 31) less than two days after being admitted in a suburban London hospital.

Gabrielle Rogers, Andrew Jack's wife, took to her Instagram page to share the heartbreaking news saying, "It breaks my heart to let you know we lost a man today. Andrew Jack was diagnosed with Coronavirus when admitted to hospital less than 48 hours ago in suburban London. He died today. He was in no pain, and he slipped away peacefully knowing that his children, step children, grandchildren, brother, friends, and I were all 'with' him. Take care out there, lovers x".
