The shooting of Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu was completely wrapped up last night (July 9) and a three-year long journey has finally come to an end. The final schedule of the shoot took place at the Hosur airport and the team shot a sequence involving a real flight. The wrap-up news was officially shared by the film's producer Suresh Kamatchi who also shared a few pictures from the sets. The entire team of Maanaadu celebrated the special day by cutting a cake and pictures from the event are now doing rounds on social media. The film's cinematographer, Richard M Nathan took to his official Twitter page to share his experience about working in the film. He thanked everyone in the team for being extremely supportive in this journey. Richard tweeted, "#Maanaadu it’s a wrap. An 85 days schedule could be covered in 68 days only cos of @SilambarasanTR_ support. The photograph will underline @sureshkamatchi capabilities. Thank you @vp_offl for the opportunity. Thank you all my colleagues & actors. 🙏🙏🙏". Now that the shooting is over, the makers will now completely focus on the post production works.

Simbu is expected to begin shooting for his next film, Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan, in another 10 days of time, and it is good to know that he's completed Maanaadu before that.
