However, Vijay's next project - Thalapathy 64 is already overshadowing Bigil. This movie, to be produced by Xavier Britto and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to roll soon. The producer recently revealed that three massive announcements about the movie would be made soon. Keeping to his promise, day-before-yesterday it was announced that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi was a part of this project. Yesterday it came to light that Anthony Varghese of Malayalam movie Angamaly Diaries fame, had also been roped in as part of the cast.

Today being Gandhi Jayanthi, the makers of Thalapathy 64 have decided to give a double dhamaka to Vijay fans. While usually, these announcements come out at 6.00 pm, today there was an early announcement at 3.00 pm itself with the promise of another announcement at 6. This latest announcement reveals young star Shanthnu Bhagyaraj to be a part of Thalapathy 64. Now, this is a massive break for the youngster who is sure to be over the moon with this news.

Now, all of Vijay's fans are eagerly waiting to know what the 6.00 pm announcement is going to be. As we already know that Rockstar Anirudh is going to be scoring the music for this movie, the speculation is that today's next announcement would be about Thalapathy 64's heroine.
